New Winter Session Financial Communications Elective 
Open to All Ad/PR Students

MCA will offer a NEW Winter Ad PR Elective: Financial Communications, taught by CCNY Marketing Director Ira Krawitz.

This course examines the role of PR in global financial communications announcements, investor relations, legal and ethical guidelines.  No strong finance background required; great for Ad PR majors who want to deepen their expertise in this area.

Students should register for:
MCA 350 Corporate Communications
MCA 362 PR Writing
MCA 375 Advertising Management
 
** Please note Corp Comm has a NEW BOOK -- so students won't be able to resell current text to CCNY-MCA underclassmen.

Students need to only take one MCA elective -- next semester or following semesters.  SP '14 electives are: 

MCA 211 Ad PR Production
MCA 365 Social Media
MCA 233 Intro to Journalism
 
Internships can't be taken until Summer 2014.  Students should see Prof. Lynn Appelbaum before the semester is over to plan for summer internship application.

FOR STUDENTS NOW IN MCA 350, 362, 375

MCA 360 Market Research
MCA 363 Ad Copywriting
MCA 376 Ad Planning
and  MCA elective (if the have not already taken it)
