Vann Graves (1994) Suneil Beri (2000) Haywood Watkins III (2011)   APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: NOVEMBER 15, 2013  Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) connects aspiring diverse entry‐level advertising professionals with prestigious advertising agencies nationwide.  MAIP offers multicultural students a unique paid, full‐time summer internship at 4A’s participating agencies nationwide combining real‐world work experience, networking opportunities within the industry, and a valuable professional credential to better position themselves in the marketplace.   With a new brand identity to reflect the direction and ultimately, transformation, of the program, brand partnerships and strategic alliances to offer the best opportunities for our interns and alumni, and a proclamation from the Mayor of New York City declaring August 13 as “MAIP Day,” MAIP continues to serve as the advertising industry's premier pipeline for diverse talent.  Approximately 90%  of the 2012 MAIP class have been hired within the advertising community, a testament to the talent within the alumni community and to our agencies' support.   Selected 2014 applicants will participate in a series of agency sponsored workshops and seminars, network with industry representatives, receive a mentor to guide them through their internship, and attend the annual Face of Talent.  At the conclusion of their internship, MAIP interns will enter the MAIP Alumni Association, comprised of over 2,500 alumni connecting alumni nationwide dedicated to empowering multicultural advertising professionals with opportunities to achieve success throughout their careers.    If you would like to learn more about MAIP or disseminate the information to aspiring advertising professionals, please visit the 4A's website. The 2014 MAIP Application is available here and the deadline for eligible students to submit their applications has been extended to  November 15, 2013.    If you have any questions and/or concerns about the program or would like to discuss about ways your educational institution could partner with MAIP and the 4A's in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out to: Carl Desir (cdesir@aaaa.org); Shannon Galvin (sgalvin@aaaa.org); or Karen Khouth (kkhouth@aaaa.org).   All the best, The MAIP Team   Copyright © 2013 4A's, All rights reserved. 4A's Student Intern Opportunities Our mailing address is: 4A's 1065 Avenue of the Americas 16th Floor New York, New York 10001 Add us to your address book unsubscribe from this list    update subscription preferences
