> once the list of recruiters is available, it's CRITICAL that you RESEARCH the agencies
and PREPARE for the interviews
> invited: a healthy mix of PR, digital marketing + ad agencies
> you MUST be on point w/ recruiters ... your actions reflect on the CCNY Ad/PR brand
- it's unacceptable to ask recruiters generic questions about their organization that you should have researched beforehand
- have other profs or mentors edit your resume
- be thoroughly knowledgeable about agencies present
- have a succinct 30 sec. elevator pitch (skills, what you bring to the table, skills you offer)
- understand you have 5 mins. on average to speak w/ recruiters
* monitors will ask you to move on when your time is expended
> please share these tips with your colleagues and practice how you plan to sell yourself *
> we cannot stress how IMPORTANT it is for everyone to make a good showing with the industry reps
Reminder: Secure your spot RIGHT NOW and RSVP (required)!
