IRTS is excited to share a unique opportunity for students and recent graduates eager to learn more about digital media. The DPAA (Digital Place-Based Advertising Association) is offering outstanding students the chance to receive complimentary attendance while volunteering (registration is normally $695) at The DPAA Video Everywhere Summit taking place November 3 at a premier hotel in Times Square, New York City.

The DPAA Video Everywhere Summit is the only conference truly dedicated to how top brands use multi-screen strategies and the role of digital place based advertising in today's media ecosystem. Over 700 delegates from agencies, brands, place-based networks, research and technology firms are expected to attend. For more details, including a list of top executive speakers click here:
DPAA understands that IRTS works with some of the best future industry leaders and has offered complimentary attendance for selected college students in exchange for volunteering to help make the event an outstanding experience for everyone.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED:
Please send the following information to Lauren.webb@dp-aa.org and cc: intern@dp-aa.org with a copy of your resume
  • Name, College/University, Graduation Date, and Current Position if recently employed.
  • Please answer the following short essay question: Why are you interested in attending The DPAA Video Everywhere Summit?
  • As a Volunteer Attendee you will work in areas such as guest check-in, guest relations, onsite logistics and audio/visual management, amongst other opportunities. Please let us know if a particular area is of interest to you. Volunteers are also needed the evening ofMonday, November 2. Please let us know if you are able to also help at that time.
  • The subject line of the email must say IRTS DPAA SUMMIT.
Deadline for submission is Monday, October 7, but seats will be awarded on a rolling basis, soAPPLY NOW!
  
The DPAA Video Everywhere Summit will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd in New York City from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Attendees must plan to stay for the entire conference.  
Founded in 2006, the DPAA exists to drive consistent growth for the industry through collaboration among advertisers, agencies, place-based digital and video networks and their suppliers.
DPAA accomplishes this by:
  • Demonstrating and promoting the effectiveness of digital place-based advertising
  • Educating the advertising community on the power and reach of digital place-based networks
  • Developing industry-wide best practices, guidelines, standards and research making it easier to plan, buy and evaluate the media's effectiveness

The T. Howard Foundation Internship Program helps launch careers within the media and entertainment industry by providing paid, full-time, summer internship opportunities to minority college students.

Students apply to be part of THF's Internship Program Class of 2016, and could spend your summer working at a major media company in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Atlanta, or Philadelphia!
