MCA Ad/PR Summer Courses - Register by JUNE 1

Hi all:

Please announce in your classes  this week that the Ad PR program is offering some terrific  Ad PR electives that are only offered in this summer.   There are day and evening classes, so that students can benefit from a variety of options.

Summer classes give students the chance to broaden their skills and knowledge to position them for  a wide range of jobs.  Here are the choices for the JUNE session I.

MCA 368 Media Planning:   Taught by Ad PR alum Stacy Ann (Edwards) Effs, a Director at MEC.  Students will learn the skills set to create a plan for media buys so they can hit the ground running for competitive internships and entry level jobs.  Lots of job opportunities in this area!
(evening class)

MCA 374: Event Planning: Taught by veteran PR pro Paula Horii.  Students will learn about how to create a strategic plan for an event to ensure that the objectives and messaging sync with the client brand and target audience.  This will take your thinking to a whole other level.  (day class)

MCA 31122: Internet Marketing: Taught by Ad PR alum Jen Spivak, this hybrid class will teach students the basics of how to execute Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing to boost client visibility and engagement.   A valuable tool kit in an on-line world for any client in any industry.  (evening class)

MCA Internships: See Professor Appelbaum about getting academic credit this summer for 1, 2, or 3 credits.

Students have until June 1 to enroll for summer.

Thanks for spreading the word.
